Woolike™ Yarn by Loops & Threads® is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 421.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully soft yarn! This yarn is so soft and just what I was looking for to make a christening set. It came out beautifully, and I just ordered more as it is perfect for baby onesies. I can't wait to to find more projects for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fanstastic quality for beginners I made my first crochet cardigan with this yarn, it's very soft and easy to work with. Beyond pleased that I made a real piece of clothing with yarn this inexpensive. I had a little trouble with blocking, it seemed to curl back up on the edges, but that may be due to my novice status. I will buy again. I see reviews about trouble with center pull and tangles - I worked from the outside of the skein and had zero issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drapes beautifully Two balls were enough to make a light cardigan with cap sleeves. Very fine yarn - drapes beautifully. I'm buying several colours now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my absolute favorite yarn I use this yarn to make both socks and lace shawls. Finished products come out absolutely beautiful, and you simply cannot beat the value, even at full price, but especially when you get it on sale! The color selection could have more variety, but the colors that are available are very pretty. I sincerely hope Michael's never stops carrying this yarn!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this yarn! Need more bright colors. The yarn itself is terrific--easy to work with, soft hand, good drape and an excellent value. My only criticism is that the line doesn't include vibrant, bright colors. All of the colors are in muted tones. Adding some jewel tones, neons or other bright hues would make this yarn line perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully soft and easy to use I have used this yarn to crochet socks, baby blankets and full-size afghans. It makes a perfect Florida-weight blanket that is so soft, holds shape, and washes and wears well. As to all the reviews that claim it to be a constant tangled mess, I have been using it for several years and have had no more trouble with this yarn tangling than is typical of other brands. However, since this is a super-fine yarn, tangled must be handled gently. As long as you use a soft touch, it is easy to unravel any tangles that may arise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok for the price I bought 5 balls of this yarn. In the 3 balls I’ve used so far, I had to spend so much time untangling the center. It comes out of the center in one giant tangle and there have also been several knots. It’s ok for the price I guess, but I don’t think I would buy this again unless I want to spend more time untangling than I do knitting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great buy on yarn The only down fall on the purchasing yarn you have to purchase each yarn in lots of three

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this yarn! Afffordable, very soft, and easy to work with! I just finished my first lace project and it held the shape very well after wet blocking. I will be buying this yarn for years to come!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So soft and knits up beautifully I just wanted to comment on the reviews mentioning trying to use the center pull. I gave this up about a year ago and only use the outside. So much simpler and easier than the yanking and fighting knots. I keep my yarn in a small plastic bucket. It rolls around and stays clean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its soft, but very yarn barf-y Unless you like to undo yarn barf/have the patience to do it, I wouldn't recommend this to you. It easily yarn barf-ed while I was winding it into a managable cake. It is soft, though. So, if you are willing to endure the yarn barf at the cheaper price, go for it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly wound skein I've purchased multiple skeins of this yarn and have made a pair of socks and a cowl that I'm very pleased with. I recently purchased three skeins in the color navy to knit a sweater. I used the center pull method on the first skein and had no issues. When I started on the second, I was constantly having to untangle knots. When I encountered a knot that was impossible to untangle without cutting the yarn, I finally had to unwind the skein of yarn into a hank and rewind it by hand into a ball of yarn. I'm very disappointed that I purchased a poorly wound skein and will be searching for another affordable, light weight non wool yarn from another retailer to use for further projects.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst yarn I've bought from Michael's I will never buy this yarn again. I pulled it out from the center like it is supposed to work, and every few rows, I would end up getting a big knot that I would have to work for hours getting untangled. This last knot finally had to be cut. A waste of time and money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of my favorite yarns I have used Woolike laceweight yarn to make the most beautiful scarves. Super soft, very lightweight, and incredibly warm. The yardage is incredible. I have found it best to re-wind the skein into a ball before starting my project. Woolike has a bit of elasticity that can cause problems (i.e. tangles and knotting) when you try to work from it as a pull skein. I like that the colors are saturated and hope that more colors are added to the line in the future. I would also like to see more weights added, at least DK and possibly worsted. Easy care, warm, soft, hypoallergenic, and knitting with it is a real joy. I do hope that Woolike is around for a long time! Thanks for this great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Woolike Yarn by L&T. Pros and Cons I always walked by this yarn at Michael's until I saw a YouTuber crocheted with it. I did the Buy Online/Pick up In-Store option and used the Honey App to knock the price down to 5 dollars for 3 skeins. Gotta love coupons. Anyway when I got home, I started to work up a beanie for my husband, doubling the strand as it is a Superfine weight yarn and using crochet hook size H ( Clover Amour Hooks ). I absolutely LOVE it!! Its softastic. I made 3 beanies out of 2 skeins (2 Adults and a child). And went on to order more online. The colors are great but hope they would add a few more. The only downside is the pulling from the center. I wouldn't recommend it unless the strand itself is hanging out of the center. If you're feeling confident and wanna go for the center, just be aware of the chance you'll end up in a heated knotted mess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful colours I love this yarn and have been using it exclusively for all my crochet projects for a year. I love to crochet and look at all my beautiful creations and it is beneficial when my projects are not too big. I treat them like works of art hence the fingering weight, the price, the softness, the yardage and ready availability of this yarn is a perfect fit for me. I also love the beautiful vibrant colours but wish there were more. Like any other yarn there are joins in the forms of knots and when you center pull it does tend to tangle up a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More colors?!! I’m doing amigurumis and I need pastel color for the face (skin color) do you offer more colors?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My New Favorite This yarn is my new favorite super-fine yarn. I am knitting a hat with size 0 needles and I love the way the finished product feels. The only reason I am not giving this a full score is that each ball I've used has 4-8 knots on average. Luckily, my hat is double-thick so I can hide the yarn ends inside, but it is very annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a soft yarn. I am crocheting with it. I recommend using more than 1 strand to crochet with because it is size 1 thread.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice I love the feel of this yarn and how easy it is to work with. My only complaint is that there aren't any pretty green colors, maybe you can add a nice forest green and a mint green?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great colors So far I’m loving the yarn. It comes in amazing colors and it’s nice and soft. I’m working a crochet scarf using double strands in the colors golden yellow, navy and grey. It’s looking really good so far. I gave the yarn a 4 because of the knots I had to untangle when I pulled the yarn out from the middle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this yarn! It's the softest yarn I've ever used and it's very thin and lightweight. I would have given it all the stars, but there's no pink. The rose color is mauve. More colors would be good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thin yarn that is easy to knit, beautiful sheen I'm making a throw blanket for the couch and it's turning out beautifully! This is a thin yarn that's easy to knit and has a nice sheen to it. Because it's so thin, it takes a while to see any progress, but the results are well worth the effort. Nice and light (not heavy) too.
