Perfect tool for the job...
Having retired from running an EE lab at the local technical college, I no longer have access to a full electronics bench. But I still wind up needing to configure or repair signal and data cables at home. This heat gun is perfect for heat-shrink tubing, once the connections are made. Undoubtedly my wife will find some crafty stuff to use it for, as well.

Useful tool

Wow I love this!
I had been avoiding this purchase until I had a need. When I finally ordered I was amazed at what I could do with the rotary tool. Great tool, very useful, well thought out like every other worx tool I have purchased.

Not accurate description
I’m giving this a 3 star for being neutral. I bought this thinking it was a cordless heat gun, as in battery operated. I read the description multiple times and compared it to another item and came to the conclusion to get this item. However, upon arrival I realized it was an attachment to another system. I admit it was probably my fault for not reading it but I found another reviewer who also stated that it was not specified that it was an attachment. Therefore, I don’t believe I was entirely at fault. That being said, I contacted customer care and sent this item back. I’m sure if someone has the system, this would be useful to them.

For all DIY home project needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a rotary tool and heat gun to do our DIY home projects and came across this multi-tool combo kit which comes with heat gun and rotary tool attachments. The rotary tool accepts standard bits from all well known brands and has a brushless motor for longer use with strong power capabilities. The heat gun is battery powered and blows hot air at 500 degrees Fahrenheit continuously. The heat gun has precision nozzle which can control the location and heat direction. It comes with a flexible cord, storage bag, 20v powder battery a storage case and a hub. A great kit for all home FIY home project needs.

Wonderful Maker X rotary tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first item I used the Maker X rotary tool for was to make an arch in a glass opening in a bird feeder. What a wonderful job the tool did. I was able to easily grind a larger opening to enable the squirrels to get the food. The heat gun, that came in the kit Expertly dried epoxy I was using in my wood shop. These two tools are a wonderful addition to my wood working shop

Useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this product to edge some small wood pieces that I had for a small project I was working on. I thought it was easy to use and helpful with the design I wanted. I'm not sure how often I'd use this product, but for the size of it and convenience for small projects, it's worth having.
