Description

You can run your entire Worx Power Share collection of tools on this one 20V 2.0 Ah Max Lithium-Ion Battery. String trimmers and impact drivers, circular saws and lawnmowers, Hydroshots and leaf blowers, the list goes on and on. These batteries are lighter, which makes the tool lighter, and more efficient, than rechargeable batteries based on older designs. Max L-ion batteries don’t wane or drain, and won’t suffer from the memory effect that prevented last generation’s batteries from fully charging as they got older. Plus, they just last longer, so they’ll save you money. You can buy less of them because you can share each one between multiple tools. Cordless tools are much more cost-effective than gas, and you won’t have to worry about getting snagged on a cord. 40V Power Share tools run on this battery too, you just need two of them (20V + 20V = 40V). They provide gas-like power and performance without all the drawbacks of gasoline: no fumes, no mess, no paying at the pump. Depending on the task, and the tool, these batteries will have different runtimes, but a good rule of thumb is that one 20V 2.0 Ah battery will provide enough charge to power our Worx GT String Trimmer/Edger/Mini-Mower through an average ¼ acre lawn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last forever [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never recycled a battery yet over 7 years of owning. They keep their charge and are lasting a long time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery for the price Years ago I bought a trimmer and blower bundle. Came with 2 batteries just purchased 2 more. I'll never have to quit due to battery limitations again. Great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good battery, but.... Love Worx' battery powered tools. However, the batteries begin to degrade much more quickly than they should, and cost much more than they should. Replaced my original 32v trimmer with the 20v model last summer because of Worx' stupid business model (see below) and the battery was great, more than enough to trim my entire .25 acre yard. Not anymore. First use this summer, it lasted maybe 1/3 of the yard fully charged, so had to buy a second battery as backup. By this time next year, I will need to scrap my trimmer and get a whole new one, even if mine is still working fine, because Worx' business model is to discontinue product lines and all accessories, so my 20v batteries will no longer be available, forcing me to upgrade at cost whether I want to or need to or not. Recommend with reservations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this additional battery to use with my trimmer, while I’m using the trimmer I have another battery charging so that I can continue trimming stuff instead of being stuck when the battery dies and needs charging,

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor service The worx salesman sold me the wrong batteries so I still can't use my tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent purchase I was using the WORX tools so often but unable to keep up with charging two batteries. I purchased a third battery to be sure I always had a back up battery charged. It has been a tremendous help and saves time. I love my WORX tools. They are lightweight and durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made batteries! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I'm not your average home user - I'm actually a power electronics engineer... So - I bought a new battery for my Worx wire brad & staple gun (which I love) because over the winter in my unheated garage seemed to get the original battery into a state the provided charger couldn't recover it from. I rarely charge the battery - because it JUST KEEPS GOING!! The new one had me back in business - and gave me the original to examine. It's really well-made. Not a cheap throw-away like some major brand tools. All the cells were evenly low (a good sign) but REALLY low. A careful slow very low current trickle charge brought it back to a voltage that the provided charger liked, and now that battery is back in business as well. TOUGH BATTERIES!! The charger might be a bit over-cautious, though.
