I needed an 8 X 12 frame for an unusually-sized small poster. The master framer inside Michael's took this standard 8 X 10 frame and created a custom matte so that my weird 8 X 12 poster looked beautiful and fit perfectly.

I got the 14x18 in frame and it is poorly made and poorly packaged. I brought ordered it for in store pickup from 2 different Michael's and both times the thin protective film was torn and the frame was all scratched up. When I went to exchange it with another one, all others in the store were also scratched. Do not buy this frame!

as soon as i removed it from the plastic, thw corner of the frame crumbled.

I barely move the frame to start setting up and it fell apart in the corners. Good thing the glass did not shatter.

Frame looks like a basic and cheaper frame. The real problem is that Michaels never seems to have these in stock at my local store and shipping meant that all four arrived damaged at the corners. I cannot understand why Michaels doesn't keep this item stocked up at stores that frequently sell out (like mine) or offer site-to-store pick up.

These were OK for the price, but they claim to have a mat. The "mat" is a pieces of shiny heavy paper. It is not a photo mat. I had to buy real mats to use with my photos.

My frames were packed in a box. That was way too big with no packing paper inserted. Guess what happened?! You’ve got it….busted glass.
