Great item but not great at erasing chalk pens
These work great with chalk markers but the chalk does not come off easily. Great for that chalkboard look especially if you aren’t looking to change the sign often, but for frequent updates maybe a different product.

Don't use Liquid Chalk Markers
Its a nice looking chalk board, but I used liquid chalk marker on it as soon as I got it and it ruined it!

Chalkboard markers will not erase!
I just bought this to use for my son’s 1st day of school board and sadly chalkboard markers will not come off at all. The board is fine if you’re just planning to use it once without making any mistakes. I used the CraftSmart chalk markers, but I’m guessing the board would be fine if you just used literal chalk.

Chalkboard plaque
I liked the size and design -/ however I wasn’t crazy about the the Wayne letter stencils worked on it — ended up scratching the chalkboard— then had to “touch up” the black on the chalkboard.
