Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent casting resin, cures 100% solid I purchased one of these kits direct from the manufacturer, and was very pleased with the overall results. there are a few minor issues that resulted in me giving it four stars instead of five, though. The number of measuring cups and stir sticks are inadequate for the amount of resin. I was using an extra set of cups from the silicone molding kit, and even with cleaning and wiping the cups between uses, both the resin and catalist residues built up until the measuring markings were illegible. The stir sticks suffer a worse fate as the cured epoxy sets up on them. Unless you scrape the stir stick in between batches, you'll need to make sure to buy an extra bag of popsicle sticks in the crafting isle. The epoxy itself is quite hard when casting larger items, but small items (<1 cubic inch, or about 5ml) have a great deal of flex even when given twice the demolding time to cure. This wasn't a huge problem for me, but could be an issue for small, intricate parts. After an hour or so, the smaller parts of my castings were as hard as the larger ones. Finally, the catalyst is extremely runny in the 1:1 ratio premix. I was extremely careful when measuring, but no matter how I maneuvered the spout on the bottle, I always got some oversplash. You definitely need to wear PPE class D gloves and safety goggles. A Class C apron or coverall is also necessary if this is being used in a classroom setting where old working clothes aren't permitted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The product was great the details was wonderful The reason I gave it 3 stars because the container is too small and it was not enough to finish my project other than that I will buy it again in case I need it to use it for very small project like mold

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but... Very messy. It cures super fast in amounts thicker than a half inch. Also, part B eventually sealed the lid on the bottle, and a gritty percipitate formed on the bottom of the bottle, causing me to waste about 1/4 of it. Great for quick, well mixed batches when you don’t need working time. Make sure to clean up!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cures fast! I wasted a bunch at first because I didn't prep enough but after I got the hang of it, it's great and got the job done! I use it with the Amazing mold putty and Amazing rubber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Perfect product for fast curing resin. It does cure white so if you seek to add color, use very small amounts of mica powder or crushed eye shadow. I recommend using separate cups for measuring correct amounts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun worked well but follow directions on mix time I used to make resin figures from silicone molds. I had thought it was the clear so I'm disappointed bc it ended up drying to White so read descriptions, but the items made are cute and I can paint these. it was easy and fast. Watch mix time. I mixed a little too long the first time.... Under 30 secs too long and have a lump of resin that never made it in the cup as it dried in cup in front of my eyes. I'll use to try drilling and gluing. Excited it can handle drilling. Will try my hand at making molds someday. New to this craft. Got cute silicone molds on Wish or home app. Look for free with pay shipping only!
