Excellent texture and color for painting a pyramid! But it took way longer to dry than the label said and it was kind of expensive.

Awesome method for applying texture to a metal fixture! I primed with a regular white spray primer and then applied this stone coarse texture in 2 coats and it provided a truly realistic texture that created a unique antique effect. I then applied an additional color over the top of the texture and the the color stuck to it perfectly.

We painted some marble we hated the color of with this paint to make it look like granite. It looks like super high quality granite, totally real, and even feels real to the touch as the underlying stone keeps it cool to the touch. We used three coats to achieve the look we wanted and it is absolutely perfect! It took longer to dry to hardness yet we had to paint indoors so maybe that contributed to the timing. We kept spot touching on the taped off areas so we could test the right time to peel the tape. It was definitely totally dry in about 24 hours. NOTE: we painted an electric fire place surround so it wasn’t something that will have live flame!

This textured paint is great for DIY projects. The texture transforms plain glass vases into ceramic looking ones. The problem is the faulty nozzles. I had a big project and bought several cans at various Michael’s locations. Three of the cans had the nozzle break and made it very difficult to use. I’m reluctant to purchase this specific brand of paint. I had to switch to Rustoleum and re-do my project.
