La Doll Premier Light Weight Stone Clay is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite Air Dry Clay! I’ve worked in polymers clay as well as various air dry clays, and this seems the best to me. It’s excellent for making one-of-a-kind dolls, ornaments, figurines, jewelry. No need to condition it! It’s soft and workable right out of the package which makes it easy if you have arthritic hands! After letting the initial shape dry for a day, you can go back in and carve it, sand it (wet or dry sanding). Just wet the dried surface for a minute, then you can add more clay easily. Keep carving and adding until you are happy with your creation! Then waterproof with matte or gloss varnish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for beginners This type of clay is air drying, very malleable, non-sticky and doesn’t create clay dust. I used it first to learn how to sculpt and now continue to use it because it’s great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST AIR CLAY EVER This is by far the best air clay I have found. The only thing I dislike is that the Harrisburg PA & Mechanicsburg PA locations are always out of stock or only has 1-2 on the shelf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best mask making material if you enjoy making makings or working with light weight clay this brand is fantastic. there is a lot of material to work with and once you are done just throw it in a zip lock bag and remove the air and it will stay fresh for a while. if it dries out just add water and it will go back to normal. I buy this brand all the time and I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only clay I use. I love Premier clay for its strength and lightness and its ability to smush (yes, that's a word...) into fabric to create a smooth and stiff surface. It sands well, paints beautifully and the lightness makes it a good clay to use with cloth dolls. When mixed with water, it creates a very useful slip for coating pieces, bonding fresh clay to dry sections or even to build up tiny detail ( I use it like this to sculpt tiny noses, a dot at a time). I admit it's not the cheapest clay, but unlike a polymer clay, if you don't like your creation, you can smush (told you it was a word!) your sculpture in a little cold water, and turn it all back into clay again. The only drawback is that you have to paint /seal your sculpts. That's an integral part of my doll making, but you might have different needs, in which case, a polymer clay might be more suitable.
