Creating an art space can be a very inexpensive thing or a very expensive endeavor, depending upon your space and needs. Think outside the box. Use pieces of furniture that you already have or can be built cheaply and easily. There are many products out there to try as time goes on. You don't have to spend a lot money. Just have fun with it! Save your money for supplies!!

Abbreviation Guide
Working chair: I used an old office chair that I already had.
Easel: I started out with a table top easel that came with a paint kit and then gradually purchased larger and better easel as my needs changed.
Folding table: I had two folding tables that were already well used. They fold up and can be stored when not in use. I reinforced the bottom with wood.
Water Bucket: I like the 3 well plastic buckets with ridges to loosen the paint on brushes.
Paint Brush Holder: Many available depending on what type of paints you buy. Not expensive
Paint Holder: There are many available depending upon your needs.
Palette: You can use a wood, plastic or paper.
Paint Brushes: No matter the cost Keep Them Clean!!
Paper or Shop Towels: Cheaper the better.
Canvases: Start off small and cheap and work your way up.
I am lucky because my husband built me my canvas holders and a table with rollers and shelves. I can invidualize the layout according to what I am working on at the moment.
