How to Use Whipped Clay to Frost a Picture Frame

Choose a clean and flat surface to work on. Lay down newspaper, wax paper, or a disposable tablecloth to protect your workspace from any mess.

**Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace**

Make sure you have all your materials ready and within reach before you start.

**Step 2: Gather Your Supplies**

Take your whipped clay and knead it for a few minutes to make it pliable. This will help soften it and make it easier to work with.

**Step 3: Prepare the Clay**

If you want to add color to your "frosting," you can either use colored clay to begin with or cut open the pouch and add acrylic paint to get the desired color. You may need to reseal the pouch with strong tape or move the clay to a plastic piping bag before using.
