Learn how to create a beautiful UV resin pendant using just a few supplies available at Michaels!

Cut a 4" length of UV tape, then with the stick side up, turn each end of the tape inward toward the sticky side 1/3". This will give you an area to pick up the tape without it sticking to you.
Now take your bezel and press it into the center of the tape.

Step One: Secure your Bezel to the UV Tape

Now take equal amounts of sand and UV resin and mix them into a reservoir. Now apply this mixture into your bezel at a diagonal as shown. Add a tiny seashell charm if so desired.&nbsp;

Step Two:  Create a "Beach" in your Bezel

Next you will cure the resin for two minutes using your UV resin light. This is a step which will be necessary for each layer of resin you add to the bezel.

Step Three: Cure the Resin

Next you will mix colors for your beautiful ocean! Here I have used an aqua color and a royal blue color. You may use any two colors you like in the blue/green family. I applied two quarter sized dollop of UV resin into two reservoirs, adding only ONE drop of alcohol ink per reservoir.
PRO TIP: Alcohol ink is very pigmented and you will likely need only one or two drops. You can always add more, so start with one. Also, any more than two drops of alcohol ink can inhibit the UV resin's ability to cure.

Step Four: Mix your Ocean Colors

Using your toothpick, start adding your lighter color closest to the sand area. Then add the darker color to the part of the bezel furthest from the sand. You can use your toothpick to swirl the colors, creating the appearance of waves. Be sure to leave enough vertical space for additional resin layers on top of these. Cure this resin for two minues under your UV light.

Step Five: Adding the Ocean Colored Resin 

Now you will add "seafoam" to your bezel by adding white to the waves.&nbsp; In order to add the white, you must first apply a thin layer of resin over the entire bezel. You may do this by directly squeezing the resin onto the bezel.
Next, add a dime sized dollop of UV resin into a reservoir of your pallet. Now add two drops of white alcohol ink, mixing thoroughly. Take a clean toothpick and carefully "draw" your seafoam by applying the white resin along the beach and at random other places in the "ocean" section.
Again, cure this resin under your UV light for two minutes.

Step Six: Add your Seafoam

The final step is to apply a layer of UV resin to the entire bezel, creating a bit of a "dome" effect. This step may be omitted if you do not prefer this look. You may apply this layer by squeezing the UV resin directly from the bottle.&nbsp;
Again, cure this resin for two minutes under the UV light. Finally, flip the tape over so that the bezel is facing your table, and cure the BACK side of the bezel for two minutes.
Voila! You have just made a beautiful beachy pendant!

Step Seven: Dome your Bezel
