My contribution to the arts as a whole is to be a beacon of light for the black community.
Furthermore, being woman, and considering my strong south side roots. I cant help but to place emphasis on the back bone of the black community which is… the black woman.
My artistic practice is a combination of pop art and color blending. I choose not to create background distractions in my art, and which allows for my bold color choices & hard line to jump off of the canvas.
