Shirley resides in Carson City, NV together with her husband Michael. They have two grown daughters and one grown son. They have four grandchildren.
She taught her daughters to sew and have taught many classes. She has owned her own home based cloth doll and doll clothes business for 30 years and has been sewing for 71 years!
She now specializes in creating patterns that people will have fun creating.
