All in one wraps per inch gauge, diz puller/ orifice hook. Hand turned from locally sourced Cherry wood. Oil sealed and wax finished. The wire loop is made from 0.4mm stainless steel hard music wire and is 3" long. Overall length is 7". Comes with a small brass screw eye on one end, for you to add your own tether, split key ring or just somewhere to hang it on a small hook. This tool is for knitters and spinners etc. and is used to determine the WPI (wraps per inch) of a particular yarn or spun single. Wrap the yarn around the narrow part of the tool and count how many turns there are, refer to the chart (or remember the counts) and you should have the information you need. The wire loop is used to pull the leader through a spinning wheel orifice to start spinning. Or to start pulling a sliver of fiber through a diz.
