Each book opens to reveal 20 pages of text from the first chapter of Mary Shelley's 1818 Gothic horror novel "Frankenstein." The text is small but readable and the numbered pages turn. Colored end-papers. The cover image is from 1818 first edition published anonymously by Lackington, Hughes, Harding, Mavor & Jones. Book measures approximately 1 inch high x 5/8 inch wide x 1/8 inch deep. I make each book by hand, starting with hand-typed and formatted text from the original novels and use only original covers, not modern graphics. Each one is handmade and will vary slightly from picture.
