Each 1:12 scale book opens to reveal the complete text from Edgar Allan Poe's 1845 Gothic poem "The Raven" and partial text from his 1843 elegy to death "Lenore" across 20 pages. The text is small but readable and the numbered pages turn. Colored end-papers. The cover artwork, by John Rae Neil, is from the 1910 Art Deco reprint published in Chicago by Reilly and Britton Company. Book measures approximately 1 inch high x 5/8 inch wide x 1/8 inch deep. I make each book by hand, starting with hand-typed and formatted text from the original novels and use only original covers, not modern graphics. Each one is handmade and will vary slightly from picture.
