Lunaria, Honesty, or Money plant is a beautiful biennial. In the late spring/early summer plants have beautiful pink flowers. As the season progresses seed heads form. Once these seed heads dry the traditional "silver dollars" are formed. Let seeds drop for next year's plants.Plants are very adaptable are happy in full sun or part shade. Plants grow to about 24" tall.Seeds require 8 weeks of cold/wet stratification OR plant in the fall and let the seeds naturally stratify, seeds will germinate in the early spring.Zones 5-9.Attracts pollinators.Flowers make good cut flowers at both the flower and seed head growth stages. Seed heads (silver dollars) make great dried arrangements.
