Each fleece is purchased by us in person, in this case on a small farm focusing on rare breeds in the Peak District, Yorkshire, UK. Once we arrive at our home in Southwest Missouri, we skirt each fleece, scour them, and process them all by hand. Most commercially processed Jacob wool is a very blended grey shade. Since we process by hand, we can separate the white from the black/brown and create greys during the combing process.
