This sumptuous yarn is hand-dyed in pastel shades of purple, green, and blue. Added silk and bamboo gives luxurious shine to this lush yarn. Blend contains: 80% Targhee wool 10% Silk 10% Bamboo 96, 107 yards 2-ply Softness scale = 2 (1=super soft, 2=next to skin soft, 3=soft, 4=outerwear, 5=heavyweight outerwear) This yarn was spun on my Ashford Joy 2 spinning wheel. Hand-spun yarn, unlike factory-made yarn, may have minor inconsistencies and imperfections. However, it is 100% unique, and made with passion, care, and love. Almost all of the fiber and materials used in my products come from small farms, artisans, and small businesses and are made from natural animal and plant fibers which is eco-friendly for the environment. Every skein has been fully rinsed clear, but due to differences in soap, water minerals, and even personal skin oils there may be some residual bleeding. This yarn may felt. If that is not your intention, please be sure to hand wash gently in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry.
