Groovy Giftables ® Our heart tray and bowl are handmade using materials such as cement concrete, colorants, and molds. Choose from 2 styles: Larger flat heart tray measures approximately -- 5 inch x 4.5 inch x 0.5 inch. Smaller heart bowl shaped dish measures approximately -- 3 inch x 3 inch x 1 inch. This item will be sealed to repel stains and liquids. We use a food-grade, non-toxic, wax blend that includes beeswax and carnauba, with antimicrobial lemon and orange extracts. Please note that sealing can cause the color of the concrete to be slightly darker than when it remains unsealed. The wax sealant also gives a beautiful polish to the items. This safe wax sealant can last for a very long time, but if the item is heavily exposed to liquids, it may need to be resealed again in the future. Wipe spills, and if needed hand clean with mild soap and water, and dry thoroughly. We take great care and pride in creating each item. It is important to note concrete is a natural rustic material. There can be variances in smoothness and texture, small bubbles or voids that occur as the concrete cures, and color variations as pigment colors and concrete materials meld throughout. Please know that this is part of what makes each piece truly unique during the handmade process. Concrete is very strong but not indestructible, if dropped it can chip or break.
