Unusual, artistic and unique, this dish featuring a tray with a teapot bowl on a pedestal is perfect for many uses: Tapas or Egg Roll with a bowl for dips and sauces Jewelry Holder Sushi Tray with bowl for ginger or wasabi Plate for cookies and a place to hold the used teabag Dish for biscuits with a small dish to hold a pat of butter for spreading I'm sure you can come up with more uses. (And if you do have something else in mind, I'd love to hear about it!) I made this small plate from durable stoneware clay, forming a slab to this 2.5" x 7.5" size, then attached a small teapot dish on a pedestal. I carved a line design in the tray and then glazed it in a forest green celedon. It's a really beautiful color. I made several of these recently. You can find more in my Plate Section in my shop.
