Watches are crafted from Douglas-fir trees harvested from forests of western Montana. The wood dials are hand selected for their beauty and unique annual tree ring history. With a half century of growth rings on each timepiece, hours, minutes, and seconds are juxtaposed against years. Underneath each wood dial sits the highest quality Seiko Mecha-Quartz Movement. The watch is enclosed by a high quality stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal. The origin year of the chronology, 1974, is marked near the center of the tree.
