The painting is inspired by steampunk and is an assemblage work with gears and other objects added to it. It measures 12 by 16 inches in size and is created on canvas panel. The many layers come together to create an interesting collage of color, texture and design. The first layer is stenciled texture with modeling paste and earth tones of acrylic paint which have been applied to the surface with the paint flow technique. then dimensional shapes and found objects have been applied and even more paint layers.
