Our stakes have a RAW finish, they intentionally have no coating so they can develop a natural rust patina over time. It will arrive looking closer to fresh metal as we cut them to order. However, over time due to natural elements, moisture, humidity, etc. they will rust and give a unique finish. Metal has a natural character in the material like different markings, scratches, patina, burn marks, discolorations, etc. Each piece will truly be unique. Metal edges can be sharp, please handle with care. All stakes are designed, manufactured and shipped in the USA. For more of a DIY project you could paint them yourself or there are chemical solutions available to create your own patina.
