This listing is for 20 WAXED African print fabric squares with dimensions 10” x 10”. Squares are brand new and you will receive 2 squares of each pattern. Use them for quilting, jewelry, doll making, artwork, stationery, patches, buttons etc. you name it!!! Over 200 different fabrics available! Please be aware that the actual designs received are random and the photos provided show examples of the actual product. Special care is given to make sure a wide range of colors and patterns are included in each order. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Our WAXED fabrics tend are 100% cotton but have a small amount of wax/resin applied as a finishing agent which adds both body and many times shine to the fabric. The fabric is also a little stiffer than regular cotton (unwaxed) material. Waxed african fabrics are one of the most common type of fabric used in West Africa. To preserve the wax, it is recommended that the material be dry cleaned only. However the wax will eventually fade away with use or will be removed if the material is washed in a machine (cold water is recommended).
