This is a single decade Amazonite pocket rosary, handmade with love. Ten natural Amazonite stones are finished with a hematite Our Father bead. The bronze cross and Romantic Mary centerpiece (fob) are hand cast in our studio. Amazonite is the semiprecious birthstone for the month of March. While precious Aquamarine is the stone of fair winds and following seas, Amazonite embodies the nature of the river. Always flowing – sometimes gently and at times with terrible force – Amazonite’s influence is all about forward motion. Our Amazonite pocket rosary measures just over 9 inches total, including the 1.25 inch fob and the 1.5 inch cross. The rosary is joined with a wrapped wire technique, sure to last for generations. Bronze will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. The process is natural; Corrosive solvents or polishing dips are not recommended.
