This is an Appalachian Brook Trout watercolor painting I created for a commission. The reference photo I used to work from is from a one of the creeks from the Great Smoky Mountains park. The brook look a little different than the brookies further down stream, this brookie looks very much like the Appalachian Brook trout from the Smoky Mountain Region. Each trout is unique but I tried to capture the vivid color and that the Appalachian brook is known for. The background is a somewhat neutral washy blue gray color with paint splatters. This print can be purchased on its own or with any of its companion pieces the Rainbow, Brown and Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout. This gicleé print would look great in any cabin, lodge or fishing themed room and a perfect gift for any trout fisherman you may know. This is a hand signed edition of 425. The name of the fish is printed in a script font on each print.
