Calming aqua-turquoise, the patina of weathered copper, is the color of painted vintage metal beads and aqua jasper. I hand-rubbed aqua verdigris gilders paste wax over the front, back and sides of a 5/8" (16mm wide x 6mm thick) swirly design coin to give it a rustic shabby chic look. I then applied sealant over the entire painted surface. The dangle is aqua jasper nestled inside a Bali-style gunmetal cone.
