K2 azurite granite is found at the base of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, located in north Pakistan bordering China. The stone is mottled gray green with occasional splotches of deep aqua azurite. Each stone is different. The long faceted teardrop is 1-1/8 x 3/8" (28x10mm). I wire-wrapped the K2 stone with gold-filled wire. From the top of the ear wires, these unique earrings are 1-3/4" (45mm) long.
