K2 azurite granite is found at the base of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, located in north Pakistan bordering China. The stone is mottled gray green with occasional splotches of deep aqua azurite. The long faceted teardrop is 1-1/8 x 3/8" (28x10mm). Each stone is different. The lower chain is 1-3/4" (44mm) long. I wire-wrapped the K2 stone with gold-filled wire below a 6mm rhyolite bead. Upper chain has a bar of toumalinated quartz rectangles and 4mm agate. Upper chain is 16" (40cm) long and lower chain is 18" (45cm) with a 2" (5cm) extender chain.
