This handmade throw pillow cover is made of a Back to School cotton print of backpacks, books, notebooks, flags, crayons, and apples in a 3 x 3 setting. The sashing between the individual 3 inch squares on the front of the throw pillow cover as well as the envelope-style back are made of a solid black quilting cotton. The throw pillow cover measures approximately 13 x 13 inches and is made to provide a firm and full fit using a pillow insert measuring 14 x 14 inches (available at craft stores and WalMart). All of my fabrics have been washed and ironed prior to cutting to prevent color bleeding and shrinkage. The front of the throw pillow cover is hand-quilted with batting and a cotton lining.
