This pair of bees on a honeycomb are laser cut basswood that are hand painted with acrylic paint, stain glass paint for the honey effect and then sealed to protect the finish. I use surgical steel French hooks (gold or silver). They are 2 1/2" long and 1" wide. The lightweight nature of the wood ensures maximum comfort, allowing you to wear these stunning earrings all day without any discomfort. Due to the differences in natural wood, some pieces may have more or less woodgrain and small knot swirls. This is a natural and desired characteristic of wood. Patterns and textures may vary but my images are mostly true to color. Colors can vary on different screens and brightness settings.
