LDPE is known for low temperature flexibility, toughness, and corrosion resistance. LDPE offers good resistance to chemical attack. LDPE may be susceptible to stress cracking when exposed to ultraviolet light and some chemicals. LDPE can be susceptible to scratching which may complicate unmolding.
