Black Dragon Horn Cast Resin Fossil Replica 10”

Product Description

This is a cast resin replica of a postorbital horn from a black dragon. Measuring over 10 inches along the curve, it came from a juvenile dragon which totaled just over 16 feet in length. Black dragons have horns that curve forwards and down. This helps to protect the dragon’s head from lateral attacks, as well as regulating body temperature and intimidating rivals. The horns are bone colored near the base and fade to black at the tips. A baby dragon, or wyrmling, only has small nubs when it is born, but these grow longer and sharper as the creature ages. This cast comes with a burlap bag for storage and an information card for display. Length: 10-1/4 inches (260 mm) along the curve, 7-1/4 inches (184 mm) from tip to base Width: 1-7/8 inches (47 mm) Mythical Era Fossils brings you the most detailed fantasy replicas on the market. We use only the highest-quality material components and traditional alchemy techniques to capture the details of original specimens down to the microscopic level. Every crack, crystal, and cavity is perfectly preserved to deliver a museum-quality display piece. Our resin cast replicas are lighter, stronger, and less expensive than original bones and fossils. This makes them ideal for display, research, accessories, or anything else you can think of. Each item is handcrafted in the U.S. with slight color variations ensuring a unique, one-of-a-kind gift.
