This painting is of some delicate blue wildflowers that bloom near my home in the spring. I was lucky enough to have them growing in the yard of a home I rented for a while. This type of flower ranges in color from blue to purple, the ones in my yard were more on the purple side with a yellow center. People also call this pretty blue mountain flower Quaker Ladies. I also included a few clover and a red lady bug with some mosses and leaves which was all around this clump of pretty flowers when I was painting them.
