This original abstract oil painting of red and yellow flowers is an unusual style for me. I am usually a very detailed and realistic artist. Sometimes it is just fun to loosen up and experiment. For this painting, I put patches of bright reds, yellows and some browns on a canvas and then just studied it to see what I could see in it. The yellow hibiscus and red Anthirium flowers jumped out at me and so I roughly blocked them in and added a few leaves which left the abstract feel to this very bold painting. This oil painting measures 10 x 14 inches and is unframed so you can choose the style and colors you want to match your room décor. This is the actual oil painting. Not a print or reproduction.
