This powerful unisex bracelet centers around a handmade bead from Nepal, with Buddha's Tear on one side, and Om (Aum) on the other.
7/8" round x 3/8" thick (22x10mm) brass center bead is inlaid with emerald green turquoise and brownish red coral chips. This Aum is written in Nepalese, which is why it may look different from the Indian Om many people are familiar with.
Buddha's Tear is a symbol of Buddha's compassion when he saw all the suffering in the world. It also refers to the pain of separation an individual must go through to reach the holy path of Enlightenment.
Om (Aum) is a sacred mystical symbol in Asian religions (Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain) which means the name of God or infinity. Om is intoned at the beginning and end of a prayer or mantra. It's also used to help one connect with the practice of Yoga.
On either side of the Om are 10mm black onyx/agate. Copper beads are made in India. 16x10mm flat teardrops are bright green jasper.
This is an extra-large bracelet 9.5" (24.5cm) long. Copper toggle clasp. OOAK one-of-a-kind.
