I made this art vessel on my pottery wheel out of a stoneware clay forming it to a wide bulb shape that measures 7" high x 7" across at the widest. It can hold flowers if you wish to put a couple stems in this beauty, and it's gorgeous with nothing at all. I layered some glazes to achieve this combination of plum and black, using wax resist to create a pattern of large dots.
