100% cotton helps keep your hands safe from the hot handle of a cast iron skillet. Cotton doesn't melt and is safe to wash in the washer, which makes this a great addition to anyone's kitchen. We have one for each of our cast iron pans. Based off of a design from Tori's great-grandmlther, you can leave these on your handles so you're never having to search for a pot holder just to move your pans around.
