Dome Paperweights are handcrafted glass that share characteristics indicative of handcrafted glassware. These include imperfections that should not be considered flaws or irregularities. Faint swirling results when glass is gathered from the furnace and small bubbles caused when glass is hand-dropped into molds. Marks/scratches can be left from the mold and uneven edges and chips are common on the dome bottom edge.
