Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Yin Yang Black Tassel Earrings OOAK Pierced or Clip On
Chinese cloisonne enamel puffed 15mm bead has a black and white Yin-Yang in the center, surrounded by a lime green band of trigram symbols. Black faceted glass on top. Yin Yang signifies complementary opposites within a larger whole which are necessary for existence. Male/female, dark/light, one cannot exist without the other. The three-line symbols are called trigrams, and are used in both feng shui and divination. Eight trigrams together form a bagua. Bagua charms are worn to repel evil spirits. Trigrams represent the four elements and four sub-elements of the universe, written as a three-line combination of solid (yang) and open (yin) lines. The four elements, from which all things in the universe originate, are Heaven (Qian), Water (Kan), Earth (Kun), and Fire (Li). The four sub-elements are Mountain (Gen), Wind (Xun), Thunder (Zhen), and Lake (Dui). 4-5/8" (12cm) long from the top of the hammered ear wires. The silky thread tassel 2-1/4" (58mm) long. Nickel-free lead-free wires or non-pierced clip-on. OOAK one-of-a-kind Gift-ready in either an organza bag (default) or gift box upon request. Packaging styles change with availability.
