Colorful funky flower earrings with Niobium ear wires. These earrings will add some whimsy to your earring collection. and I used Niobium for the ear wires. Description: Measures approximately 1 1/4" from top of ear wire to bottom of the earring. I created these by carving into my flower shape and painted them using various greens and blues shading from light to dark. I added fun white and red dots. The center has white and red beads, and they are topped with my scribble wire. Niobium ear wires are my favorite because Niobium is a hypo-allergenic metal which is a nice choice for anyone sensitive to metal. Inspired by nature and my love for color. I wanted to make a whimsical version of a flower, I love layering colors, I love scribbly wire wrapping and I love beads! My process: I hand sculpt a shape in polymer clay and bake. Some of my earrings I carve into adding more dimension and then I paint with layers of colors and designs adding a whimsical flair, I use a satin varnish to protect the paint. I choose beads that will add contrast. On some I will add wire wrapped effects, the earrings won’t be identical, but I match as closely as I can. I hand forged the earring wires myself using my favorite Niobium wire. Please don’t shower or swim while wearing these. Thank you for looking!
