Our hammered sterling silver and copper rectangles are made from solid 925 sheet metal and solid copper sheet metal that's been soldered to create a unique piece. They are connected with 935 jump rings and 935 silver french wire earrings. Each earring has been hammered and polished for texture, making it dance and shimmer in the light. Click through our photos to see the different hues you can get with changing light. This set is handcrafted and the exact set you will receive. Each rectangle is roughly 1/2" wide by 1" long. The earrings are roughly 1.75" long. The Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% Silver and 7.5% of an alloy, mainly consisting of copper. In some, the copper reacts with the skin and can turn it green. The 935 Silver ring consists of 93.5% silver and 6.5% of of an alloy. The color is closer to fine silver, and it has a higher resistance to tarnish than 925 Sterling. NOTE: Each piece is in its natural state. It’s not coated with anything to prevent tarnish. Oils, lotions, moisture, etc. will accelerate the tarnish, so its recommended that you use a jewelry cloth for cleaning after wearing your jewelry.
