Designed and handmade by Loom & Needle. The body of the purses is woven on a rigid heddle loom in the Saori style which incorporates mixed yarns and fibers with plain-weave techniques in an improvisational weaving process. Each purse represents a small portion of a larger cloth. The straps and closures are also handmade, including the natural wood buttons from Gogreenworkshop on Etsy. Only the lining is made of commercially available fabric.
