Its fibers are untreated, which means that they are only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This highlights the fibers’ natural properties, while also providing a better shape and texture quality. This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certificate number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II from the Hohenstein Institute. This means that is has been tested for harmful substances and is considered safe in human-ecological terms.
