This end-grain cutting board measures 14.5″ wide x 11″ deep x 1.375″ thick. It is made from Goncalo Alves (Tigerwood), Genuine Mahogany, and Hard Maple in a striking 3D pattern (look at it the right way and it looks like the inside of a waffle iron, but it’s flat!). It features a deep 45-degree bevel on the bottom for easy handling and rubber feet underneath. It is finished with several coats of Mineral Oil and Howards Butcher Block Conditioner. It is made in an end-grain fashion, which means the fibers of the wood are what make up the face of the board. This enables it to self-heal from most knife marks. It is recommended that you condition the board occasionally with your favorite food-grade oil to keep it soft and unblemished. Please just rinse and wipe off to clean, do not place in a dishwasher.
