The forest green and deep red glaze on this stylish handmade olive oil bottle or cruet will add a touch of elegant charm to your table. This decanter pouring vessel comes with a stopper/cap that inserts into the opening to allow just the right amount of oil, vinegar, salad dressing, lemon or lime juice, or other liquid to pour out. It will hold around 20 ounces. It's a great piece of pottery for storing and dispensing oil. The stopper as well as the ceramic composition of this decanter or ewer protects the contents from exposure to air and light. I made this on my pottery wheel out of porcelain clay, adding a small handle at the shoulder for ease of lifting and pouring. The exterior also features a pretty slip trailed design (like icing a cake) that shows through the translucent glaze. This vase is 6.5" high (8.5" with the stopper inserted) x 3.5" across and can also be used as a vase.
