Upcycled 10-inch-tall wood birdhouse is in the shape of a gazebo and has an adjustable slip-loop cord on the top for a hook display. This decorative gazebo birdhouse is hand decoupaged with designer paper napkins featuring lovely tall blue, pink and purple delphinium flowers, and hand painted with our unique color mixture of "bright blue" to highlight the decoupage design. WHAT IS DÉCOUPAGE? Decoupage is the art or technique of decorating surfaces by applying shapes or illustrations cut from various forms of paper. OUR DECOUPAGE TECHNIQUE is accomplished by carefully placing a delicately thin separated ply of a paper napkin over brushed-on decoupage glue on upcycled home and gardening decor pieces. Decoupaged and painted surfaces are completely covered with a clear coat of water-based polyurethane to help protect and preserve all materials from the effects of moisture. DECORATIVE DECOUPAGE BIRDHOUSES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR INDOOR ENJOYMENT. If used outside, exterior surfaces may need to be recoated with polyurethane for extended protection against outdoor elements.
