Desert Primrose with Dewdrops Fine Art Print from my Painting Original Watercolor
Whether your decor is southwestern, western, nature or contemporary or eclectic, this artwork of some beautiful desert primrose flowers is sure to draw your eye. I found these flowers on the desert floor during a hike in Utah. It was early morning so dew was still on the petals. This flower only lasts for one night and as the sun comes up in the morning, the bloom begins to turn pink and limp, eventually falling to the ground. The original of this painting resides in a private collection now, but you can order it as a fine art print on your choice of premium paper or canvas. The paper print comes unframed; the canvas print is on a frame and ready to hang. This art was painted using artist quality Daniel Smith watercolor pigments on Arches 140 lb cotton rag archival quality paper. An earlier version of this painting won the Mayor's Choice Award in the 2020 Spring Show of the Dixie Watercolor Society. I enjoyed painting it so much after that painting sold, that I made this one in an even larger size. This is a great stand alone piece but if you wish to fill a wall with a collection of flower paintings, I have more in my shop. ** TITLE: Utah Desert Primrose ** SIZE: See drop down menu ** COPYRIGHT: All rights to my images remain the property of the artist.
