We have finally gathered a few of our favorite silk colors together in a collection perfect for your day or evening wear. We are offering two lengths, a 30" or 62" scarf. These have been hand-washed and line dried to provide a soft natural drape and feel. The colors will not run or transfer onto your skin or clothes. These are made from our 2.5" wide silk spools. With the wrinkle, they measure just under 2.5" wide. We have run a quick line of stitching in a contrasting black thread around the edges of the bias cut material. As this wears, you will note the roughing up, or fray that occurs around the stitched edge. The fray will continue with wear but is stopped by the stitch. As needed you can gently handwash these in a mild detergent. If you want to toss them in your washing machine, be sure to use a gentle cycle and a mesh delicates bag. Hang to dry. These Earth Silk skinny scarves are made by hand in our Seattle studio. Our hand dipped dyeing process produces a unique look with subtle qualities that cannot be found in traditional ribbon dyeing. Our process creates almost zero waste and generates a stunning work of art.
